Caribbean Development Bank (CDB)
Norman Cameron is Division Chief of the Project Services Division (PRSD) at Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). PRSD, one of 4 divisions within the Bank’s Projects Department, has responsibility for operationalising and overseeing the Bank’s policies on social development, procurement, environment, disaster risk management, climate change, gender, governance and regional public goods. Mr. Cameron has worked at CDB for seventeen (17) years, thirteen (13) of which were spent in the Economic Infrastructure Division where he worked extensively on CDB-funded development projects particularly those which involved construction. He is also represents CDB on the Heads of Procurement of Multi-lateral Development Bank’s committee.
Prior to joining CDB in 1994, Mr Cameron worked for 8 years as a consulting engineer with Cumming Cockburn Ltd., a Toronto-based civil engineering firm. He also worked in various positions at Jamaica’s National Water Commission for 9 years.
Mr. Cameron holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from U.W.I. and an M.Sc. (Eng) from Queens University in Canada. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1987 and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
